Ghost Stories
The Ghost Stories project consisted of three ghost stories; The Treasure of Abbot Thomas by M.R James, The Upper Berth by F. Marian Crawford, A Tale of An Empty House by E. F Benson.
“The weather was warm and sultry, the motion of the steamer produced a refreshing breeze”.
“There was something wrong about the state-room, I said. It was rather damp. The porthole had been left open last night”.
“There stood a small square house built of brick”.
"What he and I wrestled with was not a thing of flesh and blood, but some awful spiritual presence”.
“A square well-head with an opening on one side; an arch over it with a wheel for a rope to pass over”.
“Moving slowly over it, and of several – I don’t know how many – legs or arms or tentacles or something clinging over to my body”.
